OBJECTIVE
The objective for the book cover redesign was to improve on an existing book
cover solution, having good hierarchy; typography, and visual clarity. While
having it stand out on the bookshelves.

PROCESS
Using elements from the story to create symbolism in the cover design I
brainstormed ideas of solutions for this design deciding to use the blood theme
in the title wile tying in more subtle symbols like the flower pedals and sharp
shapes that convey the setting and the monsters teeth that the Witcher is
fighting in the book. After going through variations of this blood theme I began
finalizing this design concept perfecting the typography and linking the design
elements together.
